The Division of Integrated District Supports is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support the development of a comprehensive data platform that presents school system data in a clear, actionable, and user-friendly format.
This role will focus on transforming complex data into meaningful insights and recommendations that help school systems identify growth opportunities, set strategic goals, and improve student outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data analytics, data storytelling, low-code platform development, and Power BI visualization , preferably within state agencies or education environments.
Analyze school system data and translate findings into clear, practical recommendations that help schools identify priorities, set measurable goals, and drive student achievement.
Design, build, and maintain low-code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform, Qualtrics) to display school system data and capture progress updates and impact metrics.
Develop intuitive dashboards, reports, and visualization tools (Power BI) that consolidate data into a single, easy-to-understand interface.
Build automated data collection systems (forms, surveys, applications) that organize and streamline data, enabling school systems and agency staff to quickly interpret results without technical expertise.
Conduct cross-analysis of statutory data across multiple federal and state plans to identify overlaps, redundancies, and compliance gaps.
Use data-driven insights to recommend strategies that unify reporting requirements and reduce duplication across plans.
Create and maintain scoring tools, Excel-based scorecards, and progress trackers to evaluate school system applications, monitor performance, and measure long-term impact.
8+ years of experience in Data Analytics and Data Storytelling
8+ years of experience working with Low-Code platforms
5+ years of advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel – advanced formulas, pivot tables, scorecards)
3+ years of experience in Data Visualization tools (Power BI required)
Strong ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
Experience analyzing large datasets and creating actionable recommendations
1+ year of experience with Qualtrics
1+ year of experience with Smartsheet
Experience working with State Agencies, Public Sector, or Education environments
