About the Role

The Server Assistant is responsible for supporting the beverage staff in providing prompt and courteous service to guests.

Position Responsibilities

• Work as a team with bottle server assigned to same area. Must bus tables and run drinks/cocktails while being able to maintain a clean and stocked workstation throughout your shift.
• Maintain effective communication with servers and respond to their request for support.
• Must be able to announce the drink as they are delivering it to a guest, remember and utilize seat numbers, be able to identify and describe the drink, and take the time to make sure the guest is content before leaving the table.

Essential Functions

• Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise and hectic environments.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Must be able to stand, sit, bend and twist for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the casino/hotel areas
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends and flexible shift hours

Requirements

• Ability to effectively communicate in English (Read, Write, Speak & Understand).
• 1-year restaurant experience preferred but will train the right person without experience.
