Job Description

Salary: $105,000 - 135,000 per year Requirements:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in software development
  • Significant hands-on expertise in Java and J2EE programming
  • Proficiency with Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and REST APIs
  • Familiarity with State Government Health and Human Services or Integrated Eligibility Systems
  • Strong skills in SQL and relational databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL
  • Background in application integration, messaging frameworks, and data exchange platforms
  • In-depth understanding of software design patterns and enterprise architecture
  • Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain components of the Integrated Eligibility Module for state government programs
  • Write scalable, high-quality Java code while being actively involved in development
  • Enhance applications using microservices architecture and contemporary Java frameworks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement eligibility rules, workflows, and benefit program logic
  • Engage in system design discussions, code reviews, and performance optimization
  • Integrate systems with external state and federal data sources for eligibility verification
  • Adhere to Agile development practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in both development and production environments
