Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Python Developer for a Contract with a client in San Jose, CA/ RTP, NC. The ideal candidate handles database‑related responsibilities across SQL/Oracle/Snowflake and perform essential Unix‑based functions .

Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Python Developer job responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain Python-based applications while applying strong analytical and debugging skills to ensure code quality and reliability.

• Write and optimize SQL queries and work with Oracle and Snowflake databases to support data-driven application needs.

• Execute basic Unix commands to manage files, processes, and environment configurations essential for development workflows.

• Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot issues across Python scripts, database interactions, and system-level processes.

• Support data integration and backend logic development using Python and SQL fundamentals to improve system performance.

• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the development environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

• 6–8 years of professional experience in Python development.

• Strong proficiency in Python with proven analytical and debugging skills.

• Solid understanding of SQL with hands-on experience in Oracle and Snowflake, along with basic Unix command proficiency.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $53.00 per hour
