Job Description

LED Transportation is seeking responsible and compassionate drivers for our non-medical transportation services. This role involves transporting individuals safely and efficiently to scheduled appointments and assisting individuals with disabilities to and from adult day programs and work sites.

Full-Time and Part-Time Non-Medical Transport driver positions are available.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate vehicles safely and efficiently to transport individuals.
  • Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and LED policies.
  • Follow scheduled pick-up and drop-off times while maintaining punctuality.  
  • Assist individuals in and out of the vehicle as needed.
  • Maneuver wheelchairs and secure in vehicle for transport.
  • Communicate clearly with individuals, caregivers, and staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of trips and promptly report any incidents.  
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any vehicle issues.  
  • Availability for at least one weekend a month. 

Qualifications:

  • Valid Ohio driver’s license.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Must be 25 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must pass a background check and possible drug and alcohol screening.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge for inspections and minor issues.

Compensation:

  • Pay is based on experience: $13.00-$16.00 per hour.
  • 90-day probationary period.
