Position: IBM Sterling OMS Developer (Remote)
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IBM Sterling OMS Developer to design, develop, and implement eCommerce and omnichannel order management solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on expertise in IBM Sterling OMS customization, integrations, and enterprise-scale implementations.

Must-Have Skills (Required)

6 8 years of IBM Sterling OMS development experience
IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS) - strong hands-on expertise
IBM Sterling Multi-Channel Fulfillment Solutions - enterprise fulfillment
IBM Sterling Inventory Fulfillment Suite - development and configuration
Experience with Sterling OMS APIs, database structures, UIs, user exits, and agents - customization
Extensive experience with Sterling design, configuration, and product extensions
Complex integrations within Sterling OMS platform
Experience developing and integrating web services
Experience with IBM Store Engagement and IBM Call Center modules
Support for UAT, QA, and performance testing - functional and non-functional
Ability to build automated testing and deployment tools
Solid understanding of SDLC
Experience mentoring junior developers
Strong problem-solving skills across multiple enterprise projects

Good to Have (Preferred)

IBM Sterling Commerce OMS - digital domain experience
Familiarity with omnichannel retail workflows - order, inventory, fulfillment
Background in eCommerce platform integrations
Experience with enterprise-scale OMS implementations
Knowledge of industry OMS product updates and new technologies
