OPTIMALCANDIDATE

As ProgramDesign Associate, you will play a strategic role on a strong team as itcontinually strives to over-deliver clients’ expectations. Hello! DestinationManagement specializes in Destination Management Services as well as the designand production of special events. We are looking for a career-minded individualwho thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy work environment where excellence isthe norm. The successful team player will be innovative and able to applycreative solutions to client proposal requests. They will possess 1 year ofhospitality experience.

JOBDESCRIPTION:

The ProgramDesign Associate is a deadline driven position that requires critical thinkingand basic knowledge of event planning, food and beverage logistics, andentertainment and design. This position requires attention to detail,organization, precise oral and written communication, multi-tasking, meetingdeadlines, cooperation, teamwork, creativity, ability to work independently aswell as collaboratively with co-workers, a polished demeanor andresourcefulness. Position requires the ability to design and create DMCexperiences and proposal writing.

WORK HOURS:

This is anhourly position, Monday through Friday, with a minimum requirement of 40 hoursa week. Based on client requests and projects, some nights and weekends may berequired.

EXPERIENCE: 1 year minimum

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

· DMCknowledge

· Creativewriting skills

· Intermediateexperience with Microsoft Office applications

· Abilityto manage multiple projects.

· Strongorganization and time management skills

Responsibilities Include the Following:

· Manageassigned projects from proposal design through program contracting.

· Developand maintain strong supplier relationships.

· Attendingsupplier site inspections.

· Researchsupplier availability and manage negotiations to ensure optimal cost advantagethroughout program contracting.

· Createnew and innovative DMC experiences.

COMPENSATION:

This is anhourly position. The company provides a laptop, mileage reimbursement,technology reimbursement, health benefits, and a 401K program.
