We are looking for a full-time Email Marketing Specialist with 2-5 years of experience to collaborate with our team to ensure all aspects of HTML emails conform to the company vision. This is an in-office ( Woodridge, IL ) position.

The ideal candidate will thrive working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. This role will be part of a small multi-disciplinary team and will have the unique opportunity to interact directly with other designers and marketers to ensure all projects meet the business goals. You must be a motivated, self-driven collaborator who interacts well with others, can communicate creative concepts, and advise/consult with other team members on project-related issues.

The email marketing specialist will be responsible for multiple cadenced emails across company brands, including:

  • Producing, testing and executing email campaigns, building emails from templates and HTML, asset coordination, and scheduling for external communications.
  • Effectively using existing HTML email layout templates for maximum efficiency and timeliness and develop new templates per industry trends and standards.
  • Managing email distribution lists, pulling, reporting and monitoring performance metrics.
  • Following an outlined email schedule closely and works to stay ahead of it.

Qualified candidates should have the following education, experience & skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years of experience working in email marketing and list management
  • Knowledge and firsthand experience in coding HTML/CSS email
  • Proficiency in responsive email design
  • Hands-on experience in online email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact, Campaign Monitor or Campaigner
  • Proficient in creating and setting up email campaigns
  • Extracting and understanding analytics and reports from ESP platforms
  • Thorough understanding of the Customer Journey
  • Proficiency in handling tasks related to list/lead organization and segmentation
  • Prior database management experience, compiling and maintaining email lists
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Suite
  • Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong knowledge of best practices for email creative, segmentation, dynamic content, testing methodologies, deliverability, CAN-SPAM and CASL regulations

Qualified candidates should have the following traits & skills:

  • Outstanding attention to detail and deadline oriented
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize projects
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze reporting using tools like Google Analytics, Adobe, and Excel
  • Familiarity with NetSuite/Microsoft Business Central/CRM's highly desirable
  • Strong verbal and written communication experience
  • Interpersonal skills: Collaborative team player who embraces constructive feedback, can pivot to changing priorities and who has a keen sense of timing and priorities
  • Working knowledge in social media, SMS and QR code
