Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of goods. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and a commitment to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and dirt to various job sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, including time, materials transported, and mileage.
• Collaborate with site supervisors to determine the best routes and schedules for deliveries.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Follow all safety protocols while operating heavy equipment on-site.
• Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly to management.
• Must be able to work in hot and cold conditions
• Must be able to drive a manual truck
• have a good attitude with a willingness to learn and arrive on time to work.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
• Experience in heavy equipment operation, backhoe operation, and bulldozing is preferred.
• Proficient in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Experience in heavy equipment operation is essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
• Must be able to work in hot and cold conditions

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 60 per week
