Job Description

The Digital Marketing Specialist duties include producing and publishing content, optimizing our digital ad strategy, adding to our tech stack, among other tasks. This role should be comfortable navigating the Google tech suite, improving campaign performance, as well as using analytics in the formulation of a digital strategy.

Familiarity with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to support visibility in AI-driven search platforms is preferred.

This position is an in office role based in San Diego, CA.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Campaign Strategy & Vendor Management: Design, launch, and manage Google Ads campaigns across multiple networks and vendors (Search, Display, YouTube, and Google Shopping) to drive business results. Be comfortable launching campaigns both fully in-house and through vendor management.
  • Optimization: Monitor and continuously optimize campaigns for maximum efficiency and performance. Utilize techniques such as A/B testing, bid adjustments, keyword targeting, and ad copy testing.
  • Keyword Research: Perform comprehensive keyword research to ensure campaigns target the right search queries and meet performance objectives.
  • Conversion Tracking: Set up and manage conversion tracking, including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and digital integrations.
  • Budget Management: Manage ad budgets, ensuring they are allocated efficiently to achieve the highest ROI and conversion rates possible.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Regularly review and analyze performance data, providing detailed reports on key metrics such as CTR, CPC, conversion rate, and ROI. Use these insights to adjust campaigns and improve results.
  • Digital Technology: Collaborate with larger marketing campaigns and technologies that support digital strategy, including but not limited to websites, digital vendors, SEO technologies, and more.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align Google Ads campaigns with overall marketing objectives and strategies. Serve as reinforcement for digital tasks for team planned absences to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices to ensure campaigns remain competitive and effective.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Advertising, or Marketing preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience in Digital Marketing or Advertising
  • Adept at keyword placement and Google Ads best practices
  • Up-to-date certifications with Google Ads and Google Analytics
  • Strong proficiency with Google Analytics 4
  • Required experience managing Google Ad campaigns
  • Preferred experience in multifamily industry

Compensation and Benefits

  • $85,000-$95,000/year DOE

$85,000 - $95,000 USD
