Job Description

The Customs and Imports CSR will be responsible for providing excellent customer service. Will also execute the process of Customs clearance, in order to ensure that the product enters the country as per governmental regulations and on time.

Position Details

*In-Office from Doral, FL.

Schedule

Training: Monday through Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM

Once Training is completed: 10:00AM-6:00PM Thursday through Monday.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review documentation to input and transmit data for CBP release of shipments.
• Use product files for identification of HTS details on the commercial invoice.
• Report to supervisor the completion of entry tasks, release of cargo.
• Report to supervisor exceptions to established clearance requirements.
• Organize the work area to identify the status of every file through every phase of the CBP entry process.
• Confirm to customers the release details through pre-established communications protocols.
• Track and trace shipments until arrived, cleared and delivered.
• Arrange with trucking companies the pick-up and delivery of freight.
• Coordinate with supervisors and sales team delivery exceptions and special delivery instructions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Attention to Detail.
• People Oriented.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fully fluent in English, knowledge of Spanish bilingual preferred.

Education

• High School Diploma (required).
• 6 months - 2 years’ experience and/or training in an import operation.
