Essential Functions
To perform this job successfully, an employee must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation. To request a reasonable accommodation, notify Human Resources or the manager who oversees the position.
Interview employees in various roles to help create engaging, informative stories for internal and external audiences.
Write approximately 1-3 stories per week for the company newsletter.
Partner closely with the PR specialist to research potential media outlets, write pitches and news releases, and coordinate interviews as appropriate.
Work with Corporate Communications intern to curate assets for upcoming company milestone anniversary campaign
Work with the video/multimedia team to help coordinate and execute video shoots for internal and external audiences.
Required Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations or another related field
Strong writing skills
Strong problem-solving capabilities
Analytical and communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word and Power Point
Working Conditions
Operating a computer or other office devices for the majority of the workday
May occasionally need to move packages up to 10 pounds such as office supplies or equipment
Must be able to communicate with others in person, over the phone, and in writing.
Must be able to read and interpret various electronic and written documents.

Pay: $26.58 - $32.02 per hour
Expected hours: 44 per week
