Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician with strong diagnostic and repair skills for commercial HVAC equipment , including rooftop units (RTUs), chillers, and boilers . This position involves diagnosing, quoting repairs, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC equipment for a variety of facilities. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of troubleshooting complex mechanical and control systems in the field.
Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and prepare estimates in ServiceTitan to present to customer
• Repair and maintain commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, chillers, boilers, and associated controls
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
• Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical components
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
• Communicate findings and repair recommendations to customers and management
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with applicable codes
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation in ServiceTitan
• Participate in on-call rotation as required

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
• Must own basic hand tools
• Strong knowledge of RTUs, chillers, boilers, pumps, and hydronic systems
• Ability to diagnose electrical and control issues
• HVAC Technician Registration or Certification from TDLR
• EPA Universal Certification (required)
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on rooftops or mechanical rooms
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Professional attitude and good customer communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with building automation systems (BAS/BMS)
• Experience with ServiceTitan field management software
• Experience with VFD, cooling towers, and hydronic systems
