Woodshop Carpenter

Branford, CT |$20 - $30/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated individual eager to break into the woodworking and millwork industry. Join our team as a woodshop carpenter, where you will contribute to assembling both custom and pre-made cabinets for various construction projects across the state.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble custom and pre-made cabinets for construction projects.
  • Utilize hand and power tools efficiently.
  • Read and interpret blueprints for accurate assembly.
  • Operate machinery such as table saws and bandsaws.
  • Assist in unloading trucks and organizing materials in the shop.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion.
  • Participate in future installation projects as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Assembly skills and ability to follow directions.
  • Experience with woodworking and carpentry tasks.
  • Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Forklift experience.
  • OSHA 10 certification.
  • Previous experience in cabinet making.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
