Job Title: Business Analyst with investment Background

Location: NYC, NY (3 days onsite minimum)

Duration: 12 months

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Business Analyst with Agile Experience to join our Lending team, focusing on developing and enhancing the lending platform for supporting FX Spots, FX Forwards, FX Futures and FA payments & settlements. Candidate will interact with business stakeholders, perform detailed analysis of requirements, and convert them into clear and concise requirements for development teams.

Candidate will interface on regular basis with other teams including other internal IT teams across Wealth management, BA teams, QA teams, and offshore development teams. To be successful the candidate must be able to understand the banking technology landscape and offer creative solutions that integrate current capabilities and proprietary system builds.

Job Functions/Duties and Responsibilities:

• Apply functional expertise in a squad to achieve customer outcomes and deliver business value.
• Help prioritize and set clear business goals and expectations around deliverables for the squad.
• Help squad understand the "What" by communicating requirements into technical aspects and supporting information.
• Remove obstacles in the process, work with stakeholders offline and enable shared understanding of handovers and interdependencies.
• Collaborate with multiple technology teams that are upstream and downstream to the application that include Data Warehouse, LoanIQ and the Firm's GL system etc.
• Work as part of a functioning Agile Squad.
• Work in Agile development methodologies, collaborating with business and technology teams located globally.
• Work with business stakeholders, perform detailed analysis of requirements, and convert them into clear and concise requirements for development team.
• Write detailed user stories in JIRA, create other artifacts like workflow charts and diagrams, outlining solution requirements specifications by collaborating with partners.
• Work closely with QA team to review their test cases and assist in UAT with Business Stakeholders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills Required (First 3 lines to cover TOP 3 Must have skills):

• 8+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience working as a proxy for the product owner role.
• 2+ years of practical experience working with JIRA or other ALM tools to create a productive, high quality development environment.
• Experience working with partners, stakeholders, Business users, and IT teams across geography and time zones. Also, ability to lead projects.
• Strong communication skills.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile development methodologies.

Skills Desired:

• Working knowledge of financial markets, lending-based products and Wealth Management.
• Working knowledge of financial accounting and treasury functions.
• Experience in analyzing product level or large initiatives.
• Experience working as a Scrum Master.
• SQL knowledge for data extraction.
• Understanding of loan origination, accounting and payment & settlement processing.
• Understanding of cross currency exposure and mitigation techniques.

Education:

• Minimum BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
